From the tiny hut where I was born, thru my childhood in Suriname, on to my life as a teen in the Netherlands, and to my life as a grown-up (not that I have) in the USA.
I share my deepest thoughts and emotions, my travels, my fun moments, my personal victories, even my philosophy on life and other bits of wisdom.
While I take you on my life's journey, there will be moments that are, jaw-dropping, educational, and even some, that will bring back emotions you had forgotten. Mostly it will be entertaining
The people that appear in my videos are my friends, family, and loved ones, who generously gave me permission to share these moments with you.
The videos are uncut and raw, not scripted...and yes, there are bloopers, because, I feel like sometimes my life is one big blooper.
I am not perfect, but then again who is?

This is where it all started...
In the big apple, during the economic crisis is where my concept was founded...I started to cook with less than $10 in 10 minutes...all ingredients are organic and that is not so difficult because we have supermarkets here with lots of organic ingredients. I use ingredients which are immune boost...

Fire in the city
OMG I walk in my street and I see all kinds of fire trucks in front of my building....Thank god, this for a fire next door from us...in midtown lots of firetrucks show up, also because the station is around the corner. I will let them do their work and move on...but so that you have an idea

Amy's bread
My favorite local bakery, they have rainbow cakes, because on 9th avenue we honor our gays, they have bread, danish and lots of cakes, but also sandwiches to go

Breakfast at Westway
scrambled egg crispy bacon and French fries, all so yummy in the morning for not more then $10

Lots of smelly garbage
We create a lot of garbage inn the city...hopefully they come to pick this up soon because it is smelly...what a garbage this city produces, its unbelievable

I am heading home because the bad weather is on the way

I love cheese on a cracker
I will always remain a Dutch eating a cheese, this is my breakfast, I have had my yoghurt already

Vegan Ice cream
Van Leeuwen is so dutch and they sell vegan ice cream, they are from Amsterdam, they will open at 1 pm so we have to come back soon
