I grew up with licorice, I love to have one in my mouth every other minute. In NYC I can't buy the dutch licorice but here in Aruba in the supermarket we have it all

As a child in holland I was addicted to ringelings from nibbit, I use to eat the red only, I would wear them on my fingers and eat them with much crispy noise

As you can see in Aruba you can buy turmeric and all kinds of exotic veggies as well

Pink potato salad, which is basically a dish from suriname.They have a pretty goos one here. Because there are a lot of people from suriname here it very much normal to have pink potato salad here. The tuna and chicken salad are also yummy.

In Aruba most of the time they have veggies from Suriname and fresh spices so it's a feast for me to cook and design dishes

Although the prices are off the roof, I always buy a brie, or port salut or shaved Parmesan for over the salad.

Much from holland form jumbo which is a very cheap brand. In this store they multiplied the price by 4 and because it's in a tourist area many tourist by here, and Aruban that can afford it.

In Chinatown as I told you earlier the teashops pop up! This one is really very beautiful, and organic. I like that they are clean

So I am going to have lunch at a Shanghai Chinese venue, they serve Thai dishes so I am going for a noodles soup with massaman curry

Peking duck and chicken but also squid they are very tasty, and therefore a must try at China town in NYC

I love beef or chicken dim sum only or vegetarian dim sum, but that is hard to get because they eat everything that moves on this planet. I guess that's what happens when you're so poor you don't have anything to eat, you will have to change your standard.

Chinese love gambling, so New York lottery does great business here. Happy that the police is here. You can also get a massage with a happy ending, name it and you find it all in China town

They are not very nice and they are very annoyed when you ask them something. The ambiance is nice, very noisy, but lots of food and some of it is amazing. I am always amazed about what people eat, and the quantity. They eat organs, intestine, I am so sorry but I can't do that

I sat down at a table with other people. The are very serious about their food. No Smiles

Some people eat almost everything and they are sick. These chicken feet for example have so much cartilage which is amazing for our bones. So Never judge what people eat.

The guys behind this stand was very mad at me because I was filming, but seriously I should be able to film the products I am not filming him (not interesting enough) we live in a country with freedom and constitutional rights. God bless america
