After swimming its a short trip back to the lodge, but we are back

Paramaribo is still asleep, we are leaving to the jungle, we will be in a bus for hours to Atjoni where we will board a wooden boat for a 1,5 hour trip to our camp called kinini Patie

We call them uncle Chinese, omoe sneezie, they have a large space where they sell all kinds of Chinese products. My grand pa came from Hong Kong and he did the same thing 100 years ago, I am looking for flip-flops

We had to pick up people who are staying at the lodge also, and its raining

In Suriname everyone can buy a pretty good ready to go masala and make their own curry chicken or fish or veggies. However the creativity to add cumin, garlic, cilantro etc makes the dish special

The sun is gone, and its getting dark , we are going to the dining table for dinner.

Dinner is Bamie with chicken, served with lovely sauces peanut sauce and the sauce the chicken is cooked in and some cucumber and tomato

All the meals are prepared with love and are very tasty and well prepared
