Nellie is my mom, and Hilda is the one on the right hand side, my mom was the most beautiful girl in the whole neighborhood and my dad fell in love with her. She had to suffer, because her family rejected her because my dad had black blood and that was really not done...she still to this day have a brother who does not talk to her because of this reason, even now while my father is gone. Really sad all my mothers children were called kafries, which is a real bad Indian word to call blacks, but we grew stronger than all this, we all became very special people.
