They always serve the dishes with veggies, lettuce and sweet and sour pickles. I have a soup which is outstanding here. We are still waiting for the beef sate and then we are done.
In warm countries they eat spicy food basically to kill small infections in the stomach, the peppers are great anti inflammatories. They also eat a lot of sweet and sour (pickled with vinegar) veggies or fruits, to break off cholesterol and fats. This is very well balanced without thinking about it but just by following the palette, who tells you the needs of your organs in your body.
Nowadays we forgot to do all this and we do not listen to our body at all, skip on all the add ons. Not smart in my opinion because that's one of the reasons why the dead rates increase for heart failure, strokes, and cancer. Let's try to eat how our great grand parents did with lots of fresh spices and fresh veggies.
