On Sunday morning a lot of people go to the main square where the palace is at and they come with their bird to compete which bird sings the most. At the monument is where Sinterklaas and Black Piet arrived. You got to understand in those days there was nothing racists about black Piet for us as children, we had the most fun, because he would punish us if we were bad.
