This lady has the most exquisite ice creams in different flavors made from local fruits with lots of vitamins and minerals, to artificial colors or flavors are added. This is an Italian venue on the Mahonilaan in Suriname, they also serve pizza and pasta

Rice noodles with a local smoked white fish called golden corvina, and the peanut soup is nice and thick, the tuna tatami also looks yummy

I ordered a platter of the most delish dessert at Flavors in the Marriott in Suriname and see what a lovely presentation

In this place they have chicken wurst which is made of chicken meat and I do think they add some of the skin because its fatty but the spices are so delicious. He add another one in the pan with hot broth now, and the perforates it so that the some broth goes in the sausage.....so yummy

If you didn't know how to eat a wurst this is how, the chicken is very very flavorful, a little dry which means they have added a lot of meat in it. The beef blood wurst has a weird after taste, I prefer the chicken wurst

On the water side there is this lovely venue with stunning recipes. The owner Roel does such a good job here preparing dishes our moms make at home for us. Hubby has brown bean soup, and my brother Romeo has a grated green plantain soup............so delish
