Peggy’s Plantain Rose Apple, Tuna Salad

Ingredients, all organic:
● 1 Tuna Steak
● ½ Pre cooked Plantain
● 1 Cup of Romaine Lettuce
● 1 Hard boiled Egg
● 1 Cup of Tomatoes
● 1 Tablespoon of Mixed Nuts
● 2 Rose Apples
● 2 Tablespoons of Marinade
● 1 Tablespoon of Garlic
● 1 Teaspoon of Ginger
Nutritional Fact: Did you know that rose apples are a great source of vitamins A and C?
Tools:
● 1 Pan, Spatula, tong, silicone spoon, and kitchen scissors
Directions:
Place the tuna steak in a pan with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil over a high flame. Add 2 tablespoons of marinade, 1 tablespoon of garlic, 1 teaspoon of ginger and stir.
Cook for 4 minutes on each side.
Prepare the salad Take a bed of Romaine lettuce and add sliced pre cooked plantain, tomatoes, sliced hard boiled egg and Rose apples.
Add the tuna and serve on a plate. Dress with sauce from the pan, add 1 tablespoon of mixed nuts and you’re good to go!
