Peggy’s Seared Tuna with Black Pepper

Ingredients, all organic:
● 1 Tuna Steak
● 1 Cup of Romaine Lettue
● 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
● 1 Tablespoon of Tapenade
● 1 Tablespoon of Black Pepper
● ½ Cup of Pear Slices
● ½ Cup of Red Beets
● 2 Teaspoons of Wasabi
● 1 Tomato
● 1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
● 1 Tablespoon of Garlic
● 1 Tablespoon of Cilantro
● 2 Tablespoons of Parmesan Cheese
Nutritional Fact: Did you know that black pepper is an excellent anti-inflammatory?

● 1 Pan
Directions:
1. Completely cover the tuna with the black pepper powder.
2. Place the tuna in a pan over a medium flame and add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
3. While the tuna cooks, start with the dressing. Mix together 1 tablespoon of wasabi, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of garlic and 1 tablespoon of cilantro.
4. When the tuna is finished cooking, serve on a plate. First add the dressing over a bed of Romaine lettuce, then dress it up with ½ cup of red beets, ½ cup of pear slices and add about 2 tablespoons of shaved Parmesan cheese.
5. Finally, add the tuna on top, add some more salad dressing and top it all off with about 1 tablespoon of tapenade made from crushed black olives.
