  • Back from Suriname

    In the plane we got a sandwich with chicken shoarma. I am preparing a tenderloin baked in Butter with some sautéed mushrooms and that's our meals after a day of traveling.

  • I slice the tenderloin

    Because we do not really like our tenderloin too red, I slice the tenderloin in medallions and cook them on each side for a short minute and they are ready to be served

  • Friends of hubby

    Poached the salmon in broth, add:, ginger, lemon, zest, cilantro and sweet chili sauce
    I prepare the sauce before the guest are home.
    The salmon slices are small, because we have lots of dishes.
    For the Mushroom sauce add lots of garlic, add fresh rosemary, butter and the slices mushrooms, 1/4 B...

  • Chicken caesar sald

    Add garlic, mustard, some caesar dressing, some mayo, shaved Parmesan an or grated parmesan and mix the chopped romaine into a lovely home made salad. After we will slice the chicken on top

  • My sis on the phone while I cook

    My sister always listens and copies me. She always tells others that I throw everything in the pan and that's my cooking, that's her bad comment about me. If I sing the song agingagingagingaginga she imitates me as if she has discovered it, grate the ginger and galangal in the pan.

    Very very red, but yummy, I slice the tenderloin and place some back just for 1 minute to cook some more

    I always add some aioli to eat with the tenderloin, that is such a feast

    Surinamese people do not like the flavor of fresh cilantro, but it's so healthy, its an anti inflammatory and it contains potassium

    Leave it to rest for 1 minute so that the texture of the meat gets better, after slice it and serve it

    Do not serve the galangal it might be taken for chicken, and once you bite in it, its no fun

    You can see my sister on my iPad in the back. I will re use a left order sauce for an Indonesian chicken.

    Here is the chicken which has Indonesian spices< I add galangal, chopped garlic, cilantro in the pan, wait for the pasta to cook for 7 minutes and than mix it all together to make it an enticing meal.

  • Masala chicken

    Chicken is a white meat, everything you touch after you have touched the chicken has to be rinsed/washed with soap to remove all the germs. I poach this chicken in veggie broth along with 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic, 1 table spoon of Masala, 2 teaspoon of cumin, Some salt, add a madame Jeane...

  • Club 196 BBQ

    Spare ribs are precooked, corn and 2 slices of salmon

  • Pasta

    Drain the pasta and add it in the pan with the chicken, and toss it with 2 wooden spoons

  • Salmon slices in soy sauce with fresh basil

    I love lots of garlic, because it's so healthy, some people complain your mouth smells after eating it, please think about your health.

    I always clean up while the dishes are on the stove it's always fun to win some time. We like it medium inside, don't gorget once you turn off the stove the pan is still hot that heat still get to the salmon and it's still cooking

  • Mushrooms in a sweet soy sauce

    Place 3 tablespoon of coconut oil in the pan along with 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic, 4 tablespoons of sweet soy, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of chopped Madame Jeanette, mix this and cook this until the mushroom caramelize and then it's ready

  • Take the skin off

    Once the salmon is cooking you will see the pan gets really dry, add some broth, and some grated ginger, turn the salmon and zip the skin off.

  • Salmon slices, mushrooms with rosemary

    The filet goes in a pan with butter and cook it for the gents rare and for the lady well done, I serve this with the mushroom sauce.
